Cult Creative is on a mission to disrupt how creatives get work.


Every day we come together for a vision that we believe in our members, our community, and a movement that revolves around the creatives in Malaysia, that the Cult Creative app will be the product that solves inefficiencies of the creative industry. 


We stay grounded in our values that creatives are essential to the workforce, everyone has creativity in them, and we're able to smash long-standing stereotypes about creatives. 


The co-founders of Cult Creative have a collective of over three decades of experience in the creative industry.

Chief Executive Officer Shermaine Wong (middle) worked over 10 years in branding, communication, and marketing, and is in the “Business of Experience”.


Chief Marketing Officer, Manisha Jagan (right) has run her own talent and artist management agency, MTalent Asia (MTA) from early 2015.


Editorial Director, Lina Esa (left) has been in publishing since 2010, and she was the former Editor of CLEO Malaysia.

Cult Creative was materialised during the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia in March 2020, when Tish Events pivoted to create content on Instagram.

As we started to get traction and support from our creative peers via virtual experiences, we decided that there was opportunity to expand this to a creative collective for the future.

Currently in its beta stage, the Cult Creative professional networking app is for future-focused creative professionals to connect with like-minded peers and industry leaders to learn, grow, and thrive together.
