Senior Graphic Designer
Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC)
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to produce and oversee clothing merchandise design and creative solutions to address our product & marketing needs. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of fashion trends. graphic design, styles, illustration and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including presentation deck, clothing and product packaging. Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Oversee all design projects, from conception to product delivery
Design original pieces, including illustrations and clothing design
Review other designer’s work to ensure high quality
Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
Putting together presentation deck for collaboration partners/clients
Increase user friendliness in social media/digital design
Maintain brand consistency throughout all our projects
Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
Must-haves
Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
Portfolio of completed design projects
Hands-on experience with design software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Experience in motion graphic would be a plus.
Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
Attention to visual details and have good design eye
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or relevant field
Strong interest in street fashion
