About the Event
We know as creatives, burnouts and slumps can really wear us down--there is a constant pressure for us to be productive and always creating when really, it's not as easy as it seems. And when you take this fact into account, along with how art is so open to subjective criticism, competitive comparisons and such a public ordeal, creatives are one of the most subsceptible to imposter syndrome too, uh oh.
So how do we navigate those incessant feelings of self-doubt and insecurities that threaten to take us whole and hinder our creative potential? In light of World Mental Health Day, we have partnered with Thoughtfull World for a Boundary Practice Workshop to understand these (valid!) feelings and how you can combat those thoughts with licensed counsellor, Nigel Tan.
We will be covering:
✅ How to separate one's self from one's work and fostering a healthier relationship between the personal and the professional
✅ Why imposter syndome happens and tips to deal with them
✅ What to do during creative burnouts/slumps and ways to get back up
The live workshop will happen on 18 October 2021 (Monday) at 1:30PM MYT via Zoom for only RM35. Click 'RSVP' to register below!
