The co-founders of Cult Creative have a collective of over three decades of experience in the creative industry.
Chief Executive Officer Shermaine Wong (middle) has worked for over 10 years in branding, communication, and marketing, and is in the “Business of Experience”. With her current event company, Tish Events, she has worked with several global luxury, fashion, and beauty lifestyle brands like Cartier, H&M, Sulwhasoo, Walt Disney Studios, Procter & Gamble, and Airbnb, to create stylish yet immersive brand experiences with emotional values that connect with the audience.
Chief Marketing Officer, Manisha Jagan (right) has run her own talent and artist management agency, MTalent Asia (MTA) from early 2015. Prior to that, she ventured independently as a talent herself by exploring opportunities as a model, poet, voiceover talent, emcee and pageant finalist. Her passion for the industry came with a set of professional skills from the tech and finance industry, followed by her trailblazing clientele in the music scene such as Aina Abdul, Kyoto Protocol, Q Sound, Kavin Jay and more.
Editorial Director, Lina Esa (left) has been in publishing since 2010, and she was the former Editor of CLEO Malaysia. She had always had a passion for featuring local, young creatives who were making a mark (and she worked on a daily basis with writers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers and the like), so she knew that there was something to be made in a community for creatives. She envisions Cult Creative as a collective of individuals who come together to share a space with each other to be empowered, learn, network and grow.
